Ron Skea

Ron is a systems thinking leader with extensive experience in the private and public sectors.

Ron joined Vanguard Scotland from VELUX where he was Operations Director. At VELUX, Ron worked to embed a Systems Thinking approach to the design and leadership of its call centre and delivered outstanding customer satisfaction, high employee engagement and dramatically reduced costs.

Prior to this Ron headed the corporate employee development function in Dundee City Council where he was involved in facilitating systems thinking change interventions in a wide range of services.  
Ron is also a Fellow of the CIPD and has over 20 years experience as an HR and organisational development professional.

 

Azmi Basir


Azmi is an experienced professional working in public and private sector services.  He worked for world class organisations including Singapore Airlines and the Four Seasons Hotel Group. At Hertz Asia Pacific he managed the call centre for the South East Asia region.

Azmi gained a 1st Class Honours in Business Management from the University of St Andrews.  His dissertation research was conducted in a call centre into the ‘unintended consequences of targets’.

He worked in local government in Scotland applying the Vanguard methodology after completing his studies.   Azmi joined Vanguard Scotland in 2007.
