A keynote speaker that can help leaders transform their organisations.
I was a manager with a multinational finance house. I wanted to help other people succeed and joined one of the world's largest people development organisations. I spent years helping business leaders to improve their communication skills, management styles and self confidence and was one of the rising stars within the organisation.
However, I was becoming increasingly frustrated. The knowledge and skills I imparted were not helping my clients to dramatically boost their business profitability, customer service or staff morale. When my clients asked me why is it that the team building and customer training skills I'd taught them didn't really cheer up their customers, I didn't have the answers then but believed there had to be a better way.
In 1997, I established Vanguard (Scotland) Ltd. This was after I met and worked with John Seddon, Founder of Vanguard Consulting. John translated the Toyota Production System for service organisations known as the Vanguard method. Since then, I've successfully applied systems thinking principles and the Vanguard method to help clients in both the public and private sectors achieve dramatic results.
I realised that this method could change the face of service industry in the UK. I always stick to one key principle: working on your workers is a waste of your resources, performance is a feature of the system, not the people. I can show you how you can achieve results that can save you and your organisation a fortune.
It took me years before I discovered how to do this. The good news is that my long journey helps me understand the obstacles, frustrations and the struggles you are experiencing. I've been there and I've real understanding of what you're going through.
I look forward to hearing from you. I hope that I can be a valuable resource as a speaker at your seminar, conference or after-dinner event and help you realise the code and rules to growing your business/organisation and to becoming a leader in your industry.Wishing you all the very best,
Stuart Corrigan
